Equibest is the premier equestrian training facility of Southern New Mexico. We offer English riding lessons for children and adult riders alike from beginner through advanced at our excellent hunter / jumper facility located just minutes from Ruidoso, New Mexico. Instruction in hunt seat equitation is offered in a safe environment and reliable school horses and ponies are available for riders at the beginner and intermediate level. Our highly qualified professional staff offers individualized attention and instruction tailored to fit the needs of every student. The goal of the Equibest riding school is to teach skilled horsemanship as well as the basic foundations of riding. Our school’s motto is “Safety first for smart riders and happy horses!”

Beginner riders ages 4 years and older will learn control of the horse and correct riding form at the walk, trot, and canter. The emphasis of this program is to build a a solid foundation of basic riding skills. We offer instruction on our school horses and ponies or yours.
